Diagnostic Ultrasound Scans

When people think of Sweet Peeks Imaging, they think of the joy and excitement of elective ultrasound sessions. But what many don't realize is that I also offer Diagnostic Ultrasounds in a comfortable, relaxing setting that feels completely different from a traditional medical office or imaging center.

Every diagnostic exam performed in my studio is read and interpreted by a board-certified Radiologist, ensuring the same level of medical accuracy and reliability you'd expect in a hospital or imaging center, but in a much more personal and comfortable setting.

I've been performing diagnostic ultrasounds for nearly 16 years, and my journey in this field has been both rewarding and diverse. I am incredibly grateful for the career path that lead me here.

I graduated from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences (now known as AdventHealth University) and spent over 12 years working for the AdventHealth hospital system. During that time, I worked across every area of the hospital - from the Emergency Department and ICU to Labor & Delivery and impatient units - providing imaging support to patients in every stage of care.

My hospital career also gave me the opportunity to work in the Operating Room, assisting physicians during intraoperative cases, and in the Radiologist Department, where I supported Interventional Radiologists during specialized procedures and biopsies.

In addition to my hospital experience, I also spent 6 years working in private practice OB/GYN, gaining extensive experience in women's health and prenatal imaging.

While I'm thankful for every experience I had in hospitals and imaging centers, I felt called to create something unique. A place where patients could still receive high quality medical imaging, but in a setting that feels peaceful and more personal. That vision became reality when I opened Sweet Peeks Imaging two years ago - and it's been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life.

Just like nurses and other licensed healthcare professionals, Sonographers must complete rigorous education and hold specific registries to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams. It's a field that requires not only technical skill, but also empathy, patience, and attention to detail... all qualities I strive to bring into every scan.

I believe quality healthcare should be accessible. That's why I offer affordable self-pay rates for all diagnostic services. Insurance is not accepted, which allows me to keep pricing transparent and reasonable for families and individuals in the community.
